    I began my journey working in care homes, providing well-being support through entertainment and activities. Now I share music with hundreds of seniors across South Wales.

    I provide music for each part of a pair’s special day, using a mixture of live vocals and piano, and DJ mixed tracks. I work closely with the couple to create a fully-custom set list full of their favourite and sentimental songs. Each section of the day features its own style of music.

Tay story

in summer 2025, I moved to Pembrokeshire from Portsmouth. i’d worked in care homes, primary schools, pubs and restaurants - i knew that i enjoyed making people happy, but i didn’t know what my ‘calling’ was. in school. i loved music and creativity - even studied Musical Theatre - but life got in the way and i didn’t think it was something I was meant to do as a career.

when i moved to Wales, i crashed my car, lost the job i’d lined up and needed cash fast. i had a speaker, a microphone and a Facebook page, so i put out an advert. to my surprise, people booked me! that’s when i knew the stage had come back to me. now i’m offering a holistic entertainment provision that provides everything you need to have a cracking party - live vocals, piano, karaoke, DJ, lights and more!

i’ve always known in my heart that I am a performer.

i’ve wanted to be on stage since I was five years old - watching my Barbie: Swan Lake DVD and admiring the ballerinas on the bonus ballet lesson. little Tay is overjoyed that this is what we get to do -tay 🦋

I got to nerd out about anime and butterflies all day. Let’s talk about it.   (Cardigan Anime Convention 2026)    I had the best time at Nova-Marie's event today! Got roped in as last-minute quizmaster for an anime trivia and music round, and honestly it was so much fun - everyone got so into it! 🎙️    The cosplays were incredible, the vendors were fab, and I must mention the food?? Street Food Morocco's chicken tikka and paratha was literally the best curry I've ever had. (I got an Indian tonight because I had to carry on the experience)    Much to my surprise, my butterfly frames were super popular - seems to be many 🦋 enthusiasts around 😎    It was beautiful to see our traditional little town embrace alternative culture. There were toddlers and young children who had already been introduced to anime, and there were retirees asking which show to watch first. Anime has been a cornerstone of my personal life for many years (before it was cool) so sharing that with a like-minded community was lovely.    Emily has truly knocked this one out of the park and it was so lovely to see her hard work pay off today 🩷

Spent the afternoon power-walking around West Wales in a vintage WWII dress taking photos like some sort of deranged historical re-enactor who’s lost her horse.    Highlights included:  • A field (very green, mega windy ☘️)  • My favourite butcher’s (Graham at Dewi Page is the best 🐄)  • A pub (the most historically accurate location 🍻)    Massive thanks to Y Garreg Lwyd for having me back. So… I turned up to the Dolphin Bar at Cardigan Holiday Park, fully expecting a quiet little sing-song with one or two tables… and instead got a crowd of Caerphilly rugby boys who acted like they’d collectively had six cups of coffee and a bump each ☕️🔥    Decided to throw in Sex On Fire by Kings of Leon… because nothing says “relaxed evening” like absolutely launching yourself into that chorus and hoping your voice survives the experience.    To be fair, they didn’t just sing along — they committed. The bar sounded like the Six Nations, and I genuinely was struggling to hear myself over the crowd 🙉🏉.    Genuinely though, what a night. In June of 2025, I moved across the UK, from Portsmouth to Pembrokeshire. It was the beginning of a new chapter of my life, and my career in performance. I had been singing for fun using a little karaoke speaker and microphone, and I took it to the care home I was working at. For VE Day, I squeezed back into the tea dress I'd bought when I was twelve (for a school production of Little Shop of Horrors) and put on a show for my residents! After my shift had ended, I took some photos of myself in front of the Union Jack - and here I am today! Throwback to last summer ☀️⁣ ⁣ 🩷Bore Da!🩷⁣ It's been a joyfully hectic week! With the wonderfully hot weather, I have been travelling all across West Wales to visit local residents with my piano and microphone!⁣ ⁣ 1️⃣ On Monday I visited Allt Y Mynydd Nursing Home in Llanbydder, celebrating a birthday through a very intimate musical journey 🎶.⁣ ⁣ 2️⃣ On Wednesday I visited Ty Mair Nursing Home in Llanelli where I got to start the party downstairs and bring it to all of their residents upstairs! I adore visiting residents in their rooms as it always lifts them up and puts a spring in their step. 🛏️⁣ ⁣ 3️⃣ On Friday I visited Y Garreg Lwyd in St. Clears, who had celebrated another birthday! Hello to all my new clients and lovely followers —I thought I'd tell you a little about my journey to Vintage Performance! If you don't know me already, I'm Taylor, the person behind The Pink Lady 🩷👋🏻⁣ ⁣ I started this journey after working as an Activity Coordinator in a care home, where I saw firsthand how powerful music can be for residents, especially those living with dementia. Research shows that music can help people with dementia access memories, reduce anxiety, and improve their overall wellbeing—even when other forms of communication become difficult. Watching residents light up when I’d sing to them showed me that my life’s purpose is to bring joy and music to other people.⁣ ⁣ Studying musical theatre, both on stage and part of the design crew, provided me the skills to create and perform my own one-woman shows - and I take pride in being one of the only truly Vintage performers in West Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 From my time in social care, I include person-centred care principles into my shows to ensure every performance is engaging, respectful, and tailored to what residents enjoy most.⁣ ⁣ When I’m not performing in pubs and care homes, you’ll find me framing butterflies, painting landscapes or creating music.
