COSPLAY COMPETITION

Conduct: All participants, helpers, and audience members are expected to treat each other with respect. Bullying, harassment, or intimidating behaviour toward any participant — especially minors — will result in immediate disqualification or removal from the event.

Photography: Photos and video of participants are only permitted with their consent. Photography of minors is only permitted with parental consent. Anyone found taking unsolicited photos of minors will be removed from the event. Cardigan Anime Convention will be taking photos for social media.

Fairness: Each participant performs once. No outside assistance is permitted during the performance unless pre-approved (e.g. a guardian accompanying a young child). Judging decisions are final.

Safety: Participants are responsible for ensuring their costume and props are safe and will not cause injury to themselves or others. The organisers reserve the right to remove any prop or costume element deemed unsafe.

Safety: Any props or prop weapons can be made from wood, plastic, foam or any other soft material. Metal weapons are not allowed.
